Sweet Girl

I have to share a funny story with you about sweet Hannah. Last night Dustin and I were finishing up some things in Lauren's room. Hannah took one of the washcloths from the drawer and decided she needed to "clean" while we were working. Before I knew it she had a very wet wash cloth in her hand. My first thought was that she probably didn't use the sink to get it wet. Sure enough there was evidence on the toilet that she had dipped it in the toilet in order to "clean". I quickly told her that we had to get a new one and that we don't use the toilet to get out washcloths wet. Her response then was, "oh, dear!" She said it with such expression, just like we would, and with such appropriateness. We laughed for quite some time.

Today she has been really interested in her dolls. She walks around kissing them, feeding them, and saying that they are crying. Then she kisses them or rocks them in her arms and says, "all better." She tells them over and over that they are "sweet girls." It is really cute to watch her become such a compassionate little girl. We can't wait to see how much she loves her new baby sister. It won't be long!

We love you Hannah and can only imagine what you will grow to be!
