My Clean Girls

I snapped a few pictures today when I was giving the girls a bath. I really only wanted to bathe Lauren, but Hannah really wanted to take one too. I guess it saves Daddy from having to give one tonight! I tried to pick the pictures that didn't show too much! There were not many because it is hard to watch a newborn carefully and take good pictures at the same time. I decided watching her was more important than taking great picture. I know, I know, I'm a good mommy! Ha, ha, just being silly. Hannah likes for her baby to take a bath too.

Lauren LOVES the bath and LOVES being close to Hannah. This was alot of fun for her!

Watching Hannah tickle her feet!

Cheese! Nice picture with the hair in the face, huh? Again, safety was of the upmost importance during this photo session!

Two Months Old (well yesterday)

Yesterday Lauren turned two months old! I know...time flies! We went to the doctor for our two month visit while Hannah was at school yesterday. Dr. Alvis said she looks great! Here are the stats:
Weight: 10 lbs 3.5 oz (33 percentile)
Height: 22 1/4 in ( 46 percentile)
Just so we don't forget:
*you wear size one diapers and 0-3 month clothes (although they are a little bit big)
*you nurse about every three hours during the day
*at night you sleep anywhere from 7 1/2 to 8 1/2 hours
*you love watching and listening to Hannah
* the dogs make you smile and don't seem to bother you a bit
*you still love to be swaddled
* you take naps in the swing and sleep in your crib at night
*you don't mind being on the go, unless I woke you up to leave
* after you nurse you still love to cuddle with mommy
Your sweet smile makes my heart melt! We love you Lauren Bear! ( oh, yeah and I call you Lauren Bear)

Silly Girls

I LOVE to watch my big sister and I LOVE to listen to her talk.

Cheese!!!!

A few projects

Playing in the Rain

Hannah decided that it would be fun to play in the rain today! It wasn't raining that hard so I thought... why not! We stripped her down to her diaper and new rain boots and she had a blast. She convinced daddy to join her so he grabbed the umbrella from the sand table. I am standing on the porch taking pictures and this is the conversation I hear:

H:"Daddy, come on! Play with me!"

D:"Where are we going?"

H:"This way to the swing."

H:"Watch out for the poop."

D:" What poop?"

H: "Emma's poop. Don't touch it, daddy!"

D:" Oh, ok."
Check out the cool shoes!

Come on, daddy!
Watch out for the poop!

Just a Few Pics

First Day of School

Hannah started school on Tuesday for the first time! She was sooooooooooo excited to go because she had gone to "meet the teacher" the night before. When we got to the classroom door she did not even turn around to say goodbye! Needless to say this was the only picture I got and it is not very good. She is going two days a week to First Baptist Frisco from 9:15- 2:15. So far she is really enjoying it! What a big girl!

Are we bad parents if...

we don't REALLY want to potty train our 2 year old? We bought Hannah a little "potty" that she thinks is her new throne. She was carrying it around the house and we have convinced her to leave it in the bathroom. TWICE now, yes TWICE she has taken her diaper off while I am feeding Lauren and PEED (sp?) in the POTTY! I am not ready for this! She is showing so much interest in being a big girl and even wants to wear "panties" over her diaper! Oh, my! I guess we need to come up with a plan because she is DETERMINED to do it herself! Gotta love the joys of parenthood!

"Scarecrow Girl"

Bringing me the camera Hannah says, "Mommy take a picture of me and scarecrow girl."

Do you think it may be a sign that she needs a few more friends to play with when the fall decoration has become her best friend?

Is she considered "imaginary" when the best friend doesn't move?

Sweet thing has quite the imagination these days! We are looking into to some Preschools so that she can have friends other than "scaregrow". She placed her in just the right spot and then said cheese!
