What a life these puppies have, huh? Laying in the sun and sleeping! I had to get a picture of these two silly dogs.

My Loves
At almost eighteen months here are some of the things that I love... Elmo! I love him and I don't even know why. Maybe because he is bright red!

What do you get when...
you let a 17 month old feed herself spaghetti? This my friends is what you get! A big ol' mess! She loved it and tried really hard to use the spoon!

Just pretending...
For Christmas Hannah got a little play kitchen. It is the perfect size for her and it can grow with her too! She love pretending to "feed" you her play food. One night I was watching her play and she was playing with the little sink in her kitchen. She leaned over and acted like she was drinking water from the faucet. I laughed pretty hard because we sure don't do that! Anyways, she loves to pretend and is quite the helper these days.

2008
2008 has be an incredible year in the Alban family. We have enjoyed seeing Hannah grow and change constantly. She is a wonderful little girl full of life and love. At the beginning of 2008, she was just learning to eat baby food and was not able to sit up alone. Not only does she eat much more than baby food now, but she has an opinion about it too! From sitting to crawling and pulling up to walking she has developed so much over the last year. We have truly enjoyed being her parents and look forward to what the future brings.
In 2008, I also completed my fifth year of teaching first grade. Although it was a bittersweet decision, I am loving the time I can spend with Hannah now that I do not teach full time. We have been blessed with students for me to privately tutor allowing me to supplement a portion of the income I was making. I have been very lucky to have the students that I do, and I love that I can continue teaching outside of the classroom.
Dustin is still working at the Frisco RoughRiders and enjoying it. We feel like this job is a great fit for him and our family as well. Outside of work Dustin still enjoys watching Baylor sports, although he does admit that it is more fun when they win! Regardless, he will always be a huge fan of the Baylor Bears!
Emma and Bailey have adjusted to their new life with Hannah around. They seem to enjoy giving her kisses and begging her for food. Between new babies all around us and our busy little one, we seem to always have something to do. Jan. 2008

Gaylord Texan
On Sunday we met our very good friends, The Rhodes, at the Gaylord Texan to check out the holiday decorations. We were not the only ones who went to the hotel on Sunday, and it was very busy! We tried to take lots of pictures and enjoyed a yummy meal after we finished. Spending time with Jon, Angie, Megan, and Kaden is always fun. We love you guys lots! Merry Christmas! The only way she was happy was when she was sitting alone in the sleigh.

First Official Haircut
Last Friday Hannah got her first official haircut. I was a bad Mommy and only took two pictures. I know...bad mommy. She did great and loved Lisa the hair lady. We only trimmed it so it doesn't really look any different!

A Second Visit with Santa
So, Santa is not Hannah's favorite person to visit at the mall. We tried once at Stonebriar and the pictures turned out terrible. Mom and I wanted to try again so we went to Willowbend instead. They had a really cool setup with fake snow and scenes from the Polar Express. Santa went better, but I had to hold her and be in the pictures too! After we saw Santa we ate lunch at California Pizza Kitchen. Hannah sat in a booster seat for the first time and she did great!
