Playa Del Carmen, Mexico

Dustin and I just spent four days and three nights in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. We were very lucky to enjoy an incredible paid vacation by the RoughRiders! The resort was beautiful and we would love to go back in the future! Enjoy the pictures...I know there are a bunch!

9 months!

I know this is a goofy picture, but I thought it was fun!

9 things about you:

1. You are finally getting your first teeth! We just noticed yesterday that you had one peeking through that gum of yours. We were very excited and it is about time! If you look closely you can see them in the picture.

2. You love hanging upside down. This picture was taken upside down because you do love it! As long as you love it we will keep doing it!

3. You love your daddy! Dada is a part of your vocabulary now and you love spending time with him. I love to watch you two listening and dancing to Daddy's music.

4. You still love to dance! You even dance at night when I am rocking you to sleep! Sweet girl! Maybe you will have a career in the music field. I love to sing Praise Baby with you at night before bed. We finally got a new CD player and now we can sing every night!

5. You wave all the time! You have figured out how to wave and you love to do it. You have also learned that shaking your head means no! We have figured out when you are done with your bottle because you shake your head!

6. You are really good at feeding yourself now. You love cheerios, puffs, carrots, peas, bananas, chicken, cheese, and much more! It sure is fun to watch you become independent.

7. You are in love with your puppies! They love to be near you and even like to sit on your blanket after you have gone. You don't really love their kisses, but you like to touch their paws and pull on their collars. You even tease them with your snacks sometimes!

8. Any day you will be crawling. You can go from laying on your tummy to sitting on your bottom, and this makes you very proud! When you want to go somewhere you are confident in getting to your knees, but are just not sure where to go next! Don't worry little one you will find out soon enough!

9. Your daddy and I could only imagine that we would love you so much! We fall more in love with you each and everyday!

Auntie B's Birthday Lunch

Today we ate lunch at BJ's for Auntie B's birthday. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed spending time with Grandma and Grandpa Alban and Auntie B.

Playing with the Life Group Girls

On Saturday we had the LIfe Group over and I got to hang out and play before it was time for bed. I had a great time playing with Halie, Melanie, and Michelle.

Daddy, Daddy, Daddy

Ok...so when I left for work this morning Hannah was wearing a one piece green outfit. When I picked her up from the sitter she was no longer wearing the cute one piece outfit. Daddy had apparently changed her clothes before she went to Kelly's house. The outfit was very cute and it even had a matching top and bottom, but there was one problem. It was on backwards! I noticed right away because the buttons along with the pockets on the shirt were on the back! Silly daddy forgot to pay attention to the tag! Oh well! Nice try daddy! I tried to take a few pics, but it is sort of hard to tell.

Butterflies

Every year we raise butterflies as a class. This year we had five butterflies that survived and the kids really loved it. We even got to see two of them come out of their chryalis. Today we released them outside in hopes that they will survive!

Safety Town and Class Pictures

Today my class and I went to Safety Town in Frisco. In first grade they teach them about car and pedestrian safety. Once they have learned about what to do they get to drive these really cool cars! It is truly like a little town with a tollway, a Walmart, stop signs, and traffic lights! They really enjoyed it.

My New Ride

There is not much going on these days, just the normal stuff around here. I did get a new car seat though. Do you like it? I like it so far! Have a wonderful Wednesday!

There she goes again! I have figured out how to scoot backwards, but not forwards yet.
